BIDIRECTIONAL INTERFACES · IRONCI

IronNeuro

Human intent, command, and stimulation safety for bidirectional brain–computer interfaces.

Concept illustration of a person wearing a white headband and reaching toward a translucent light field.
A headband wearer reaches toward a luminous field in an illustrative interface scene. Illustrative concept, not a deployed-product demonstration.

Two directions create two consequential boundaries.

A brain–computer interface may translate signals into commands for a connected system and may also deliver stimulation back toward a person. Both directions raise questions about intent, consent, present authority and reviewability.

Review commands and stimulation in context.

IronNeuro addresses whether an interpreted command should proceed and whether a proposed stimulation is within authorized bounds. Its public scope includes neural data stewardship, changing conditions over time and an accountable record of consequential decisions.

Illustrative applications

  • Assistive control concepts

An interpreted signal proposes an action by a connected device. The command can be evaluated against current intent and authority before that action.

  • Feedback and stimulation concepts

An interface proposes stimulation in response to a changing signal. The return path calls for its own authorization and safety review.

  • Ongoing interface use

As context or consent changes, earlier permission need not determine every later command or stimulation decision.
